Birmingham Open Studios is all about exhibiting from your own creative space. It is your creative space that makes the experience exciting to visitors, and the event unique from existing arts markets. 

However, if you really cannot open your space to visitors, if you do not have a studio, or you are based too far away, there are venues that may be able to host you during the event.

You are also very welcome to find an alternative host yourself by contacting cafes, community centres, churches, shops, galleries and your friends/families homes.

Please note: Some venues will charge a fee or commission to use their space

Below is a list of venues that have signed up as Birmingham Open Studios hosts. This list will be updated periodically.

The below venues have kindly offered to host artists during Birmingham Open Studios 2025. Please note that not all of these venues are able to open every day. Some may only open one weekend, or just both the Saturdays for example

• Some venues will have restrictions on the types of artwork or the size of artwork they can accommodate.
• Some may also have access restrictions, like access via stairs.
• Some venues will also charge for the use of their space.

If these venues are not suitable for your artworks, please continue to source your own venues by approaching coffee shops, libraries, pubs, community centres etc.
