WE ARE NOW TAKING SUBMISSIONS FROM ARTISTS FOR OUR 2022 EVENT. THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS 15TH JULY

BEFORE SIGNING UP, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

  1. Artists must have an address they are able to exhibit from before submitting their application. If you cannot exhibit from your own home/studio, please contact local arts centres, shops, cafes, churches, libraries, community hubs, friends or family members within the catchment area. It is now up to artists to organise their own venue if they do not already live/work in the area.
  2. Artists can only exhibit within the catchment area (Moseley, Kings Heath, Balsall Heath, Hall Green, Shirley, Selly Oak, Selly Park, Bournville, Highgate, Stirchley, Cotteridge, Kings Norton, Northfield, Harborne, Edgbaston, Quinton and Bearwood) If you do not live/create your work in this area, but are just outside the area, please contact us first
  3. By signing up to join Open Studios, you are committing the dates that you choose to exhibit from 11am to 5pm each day
  4. Your profile will be listed on the website and printed in the paper guidebook. We will also share your bio on social media
  5. Artists are able to amend and cancel their listings, up to July 15th when the guidebook will go to print. After this date, no refunds/amendments will be available
  6. You agree to allow the visiting public into your working space
  7. The space you provide should be clean, accessible and free of obstacles
  8. All information you provide should be written in 3rd person, and should be accurate to the best of your knowledge
  9. All photos and images provided should be bright, straight, correctly exposed and suitable for printing. Maximum of 2Mb per image
  10. All artists are required to contribute in promoting the event – by circulating, delivering and hanging printed matter, and by engaging on social media wherever possible
  11. The cost to join Birmingham Open Studios 2022 is £45 per artist
