Maggie Leaver uses contemporary painting approaches and experimental methods in watercolour, oils and mixed media in her often expressive and complex paintings. Inspired by the impressionists along with many contemporary artists, her work includes impressionist and abstract work.
After several years of developing her art practice assisted by courses and workshops, Maggie exhibits and sells her work regularly. A number of her paintings have been selected for RBSA open exhibitions.

Maggie Leaver’s work aims to capture and communicate her experience and celebrate nature, but also maintains an underlying concern for the loss of natural world and issues of social injustice.

Maggie is a member of Birmingham Art Circle
