I have attended some life-drawing courses at the MAC and Friendship Institute but other than that I am entirely self-taught. I grew up in a ‘painting, sculpturing, and drawing’ environment though as my father used to be an art critic. I know almost of the then prominent Nepalese artist. This is some 20 to 30 years ago. May be this is why I have always wanted to paint. Due to circumstances, lack of inspiration, or just plainly seeing no future for me in this field, I never consistently involved myself to painting until about 3 years ago. Since 2017, I have been very active in painting, drawing, collage making. I should have done this long time ago as I feel this makes me happy. No other field of work has been this satisfying ever.

I choose varied subject matters – landscape, still-life, painting animals, etc. I also do commission painting for friends; mostly painting their pets. I love making collages. I find it therapeutic and enjoy doing it immensely.
