After leaving school Philip continued further education at the jewellers colledge in Hockley studying design and engraving with the intention of joining his Father in the family Jewellery business . But instead went to join an artist community in Worcester.
He had always been a keen artist and he went on to exhibit paintings throughout the U.K. with his first solo exhibition in 2002 at numberninethegallery in Birmingham followed by “Caratus lll” in Gallery 94 in London’s Cleveland Street, he also Exhibited within the Odean theatre group and was connected with promoting British Art at Aston University involving Art students from Germany with an Album cover for a recordIng company , he has returned to Birmingham to work
