Are you keen to join Birmingham Open Studios, but find the membership fee prohibitive?
We understand that a membership fee can simply be too expensive for some artists, especially for those not in full time work. That’s one of the reasons we became a CIC (Community Interest Company) in late 2024.
Our aim is to secure funding to help a number of low-income and disabled artists participate, that could not do so without financial assistance. We are currently in talks with bodies who may supply funding to help with this, but the process takes time. We are confident that from 2026 we will have secured funding to allow our project to be even more diverse and inclusive.
Although we do not yet have any additional funding for this, if you wish to take part in Birmingham Open Studios 2025, but find the costs too prohibitive, please contact us to see if we can help.
