Stryx is a female artist-led studio, project and exhibition space based in Birmingham with artistic hubs in Digbeth and the Jewellery Quarter. They currently have 23 artists in permanent residence across both of their studios with 9 based in the Jewellery Quarter and 14 in Digbeth.

Longer Description:

Stryx is a female artist-led studio, project and exhibition space based in Birmingham with artistic hubs in Digbeth and the Jewellery Quarter. Founded in 2012, Stryx focuses on supporting artists through studio provision, residencies and artist development programmes. We invite the public to experience the process of art making and exhibition production creating an open platform for learning and growth. Stryx seeks to initiate and develop regional and national artistic collaborations in order to promote and strengthen an accessible and vibrant network of ideas and practices.

We currently have 23 artists in permanent residence across both of our studios with 9 based in the Jewellery Quarter and 14 in Digbeth.

Our Jewellery Quarter site is accessible with 6 ground floor studios. We currently have a couple of studios available in Digbeth and are developing more spaces in the Jewellery Quarter that will be available in the autumn.
