I am a freelance practising artist currently teaching in communities. My background includes teaching Art & Design at Birmingham City University, Cadbury College and Bournville College. I currently teach painting and drawing and Art Appreciation classes in Bournville, Harborne and West Heath.
My interests lie in the relationships between our mental and physical positioning of ourselves and objects we have around us. I am heavily influenced by the writings of Georges Perec and psychogeography.
My practice involves conversation, listening, absorbing, observing and responding to the world as I see it using various methods from sound installation, video, sculpture and painting.
