Longer Description:

My ceramic pieces are mainly coiled in stoneware into vases or sculptures that are reminiscent of sunflowers, cacti, succulents, and birds. They are decorated with iron oxide and slips.
Also, I love to create tiny vases, miniatures you can hold in your hand and take little space, but can contain and keep a whole world of ideas, thoughts and shapes.
Other tiny shapes range from organic to abstract. Low-fired and unglazed, their texture is porous, like skin. I like to think of clay as being able to breath, as being alive.
