Brian Prangle

Brian Prangle is a pastel artist who uses pastels for the primal experience of fingers, pigment and surface. He creates vibrant pigment layers and likes surprising people’s pre-conception of pastels (often they’ve only seen them used in pale depictions of courtroom villains). He creates artwork of cityscapes, portraits, landscapes and flowers.
