Andrew's work is original. Unique. One off. Just for you. All you will see when you visit his Stirchley studio comes from collections he has made in recent years. All of his images & sculptures enquire into value, & the radical act of noticing what might be going on. How do we represent what matters to us? Much of his work centres on forms of vitality and the physicality of gesture. His images are all original drawings, the majority on found music scores & book manuscripts from the 19th century.

Andrew's art is lyrical, gestural, reaching for some everyday beauty. He has been painting and sculpting for 50+ years, making over 70,000 drawings in that time. This helps explain the simplicity of his work. He is the co-founder of the artworks studio. He has been casting in bronze and aluminium in collaboration with Mark Halliday RCA at New British Art, Carmarthenshire, for the past 10 years; and has exhibited at the RBSA and Ikon galleries in Birmingham. His studio is in stirchley : birmingham : europe.
